Welcome to AlistairScribbles 13, a melting pot of ideas and styles. Hopefully you will stay with me for all of the 10 images in this episode, because there are some surprises.

Interconnected Universes
This image, and the following two, may suggest I’ve decided to mimic Aboriginal Art. Living in Australia and being very fond of the Aboriginal Dot Painting style certainly means I have been influenced by it. But equally I have been in a period of experimentation with dotted and squared lines. (for example “Cascading Lines” above & “Portrait of a Great Horned Owl” in ‘scribbles 12’)
As to the subject matter, I’ve discovered a wealth of astrophysical information (facts and fiction) on Facebook Reels since the comet 3I/Atlas arrived in our solar system and I’ve watched and listened to quite a lot of it. Yet I still know very little about astrophysics or 3I/Atlas.

Spacetime Warp Fantasy
I have learnt only recently gravity is no longer considered to be a force that pushes and pulls, but rather it’s the curvature of spacetime. Apparently, space must curve around the mass of an object.

********
Interstellar Visitor 3I/Atlas
Most of the astrophysics fiction I’ve encountered in Facebook Reels relates to the comet 3I/Atlas and it’s journey through our solar system.

Mysterious Eyes
Starting as a photograph of hot cooking oil splatted on our black glass cooktop, this image was imported into Freeform, colour added and exported to Photoshop to render the image with the colours you now see.
The ‘mysterious eyes’ were originally the reflection of the range hood lights.
