There is nothing like publishing on the WWW to smarten up your ideas. The knowledge that, although the readership of these ‘scribbles’ is fairly small, anyone could come across them at anytime and I could be left open to all sorts of criticism. With this in mind I do spend added time to refine each image to the best of my ability.

The Cape Daisy

The cape daisy is one of my favourite flowers, but of course the image below is neither that flower or an accurate representation of it. It is however an attempt to represent a cape daisy with shapes and colours that are different from the real thing. Hopefully it satisfies your brain enough to think it represents a cape daisy.

Conflict

This Image alludes to a scene from a medieval battle with a small reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail 1975 movie.

I See You

Sometime ago I discovered the concept that one of our purposes in life is to witness and confirm the existence of those around us. In that context, “I See You” is a very significant phrase to be directed at each of us.

I love the piano, but despite learning to play several brass instruments, guitar and bass guitar, I could not learn to play the piano past a very basic level. So I admire anyone who is competent on this instrument.

The Spire

A tapering conical structure on top of a building, typically a church. They make me feel ‘inspired’.

Woman in Nature

I commenced this image attempting to represent the four seasons of a year and two of the elements; fire and water. When finished, I realised the image had no focus point and failed to tell a story. So I started looking for a remedy and in the process discovered the image of a woman I had unintentionally created. With various changes including making the woman more obvious, the whole image seems to work and of course the story changed.
