It’s on Again, a Short Holiday in the Caravan

It’s on Again, a Short Holiday in the Caravan

From November 1st 2021 we were once again permitted to travel outside of the Greater Sydney Area to regional New South Wales, following a long Covid lockdown.

Our group of caravanning friends decided to head north of Sydney to a riverside bush camp. But first Maggie and I had commitments in Sydney’s northern beaches, so we set up the caravan at Sydney Holiday Park, North Narrabeen, for five nights.

The following is not an advertisement for Four Pines, but it does declare my support for the mighty Manly Sea Eagles Rugby League team, which now has it’s own Beer, via sponsors 4 Pines Brewery.

As a school boy in the 1960s I played representative Rugby League for Manly Warringah. We were given a jersey with a large vinyl Logo on the front – the eagle standing on a football and the letters MW (as seen above on the beer can). Wearing that jersey in wet weather made it almost impossible to catch or hold onto a ball, as the ball easily slipped off the large shiny, vinyl logo.

It’s a great feeling to be free to explore again, even if we can’t go out of NSW yet.

We hope you have the opportunity to explore somewhere during this holiday period.
