August in Lockdown Part 2

August in Lockdown Part 2

How are you coping with your Covid lockdown restrictions? Or are you in a jurisdiction that no longer imposes restrictions?

In accordance with the current lockdown rules of our Local Government Area, Maggie and I have been able to exercise in two new locations.

********

Mt. Panang Gardens – The Avenue Kariong NSW Australia

********

Central Coast Sports College – a private school founded in 2013, adjacent to Mt. Panang Gardens and Kariong Mountains High School, with a student intake area from Sydney to Newcastle for K to Year 12.

It’s facilities comprise of a collection of old style, single level buildings and many outdoor sporting resources.

From Home

Full Moon Rising
It’s Been Raining, For not Long …
After the Rain … Sunrise

********

Forresters Beach with rough afternoon surf

Walking on Water
Rocks …
Rocks … and
Did you see the dog?
Gold in them there rocks
I’m Still Standing ….

********

Care for a game of Fiddle Sticks?

Maybe another time when the world is “more normal”? What will “normal” be in the next few years?

Stay safe and well, and be kind to yourself and others.

Thanks for your comment Daryl. Yes, there’s a wonderful collection of rocks along the southern end of the beach. I believe they were placed there to stop erosion. At least one house along the ridge above the beach was lost due to erosion and many more damaged around the other side of the point at Wamberal.

Great pics Al. Taking solace in nature is one of the rare pleasures we have left to us. We’re double vaccinated but still live in
lockdown, can’t even see our daughter who lives around the corner from us. The gypsy I live with is really missing travel so all we can do is hope for better in the future. Your pics brought a smile to my face. Thanks

Thanks for this wonderful comment Ron. While I think we share a knowledge of the benefits of this lockdown in NSW, it doesn’t make it easy to bare the social consequences. Maggie is fully vaccinated and I will be in another 3 weeks. Please reassure the gypsy that we are with you both in the hope for a better future. Hoping for some change as early as October, to allow us to at least travel within NSW.

Hi Al & Maggie – love the photos, really makes me want to go to the beach. Not much of that in Canberra, unfortunately, but we do have other benefits. And no, I didn’t see the dog! Very cute. Stay safe, you two, and keep taking beautiful photos.

Thanks for your comment Marg. I’m certain you will be able to go to a beach soon (November maybe). No one mentioned seeing the dog. I didn’t notice it at first, but it is there. All the best.
