Hunter Valley Christmas Lights 2019

Hunter Valley Christmas Lights 2019

On the evening of 14 November 2019 Maggie and I, plus a group of our friends, visited the Hunter Valley Gardens to see the Christmas lights display. The decision was made to arrive before dark to appreciated these delightful gardens without the lights and stay to see the night time transformation.

I feel the need to explain one more thing. We were there as part of Di & Norm’s honeymoon.

The gardens are open from 9am – 4pm for daylight viewing and from 5.30pm – 10pm leading up to Christmas, for the lights display. (Not open Christmas Day). Address is 2090 Broke Road, Pokolbin NSW 2320, Australia.

A transformation certainly did take place as darkness descended. So be sure to check sunset times when booking.

Happy to share, thanks Rita. Everyone in the group seemed to enjoy the experience. Whoever is responsible makes a big effort to present the Christmas lights. Since it was our first visit I am uncertain if the lights are the same each year. But certainly worth seeing.
