Last year I bought a new (refurbished) M2 MacBook, because my 11 year old MacBook was almost unsupported and operating very slowly on many tasks. One thing I hoped to gain from a new MacBook was the ability to create AlistairScribbles on the much larger MacBook screen and hopefully create more detailed and refined work. However, while Apple provides the Freeform App as part of MacOS, it is “watered down” and almost useless to me.
This predicament, on top of adjusting to a Parkinson’s diagnosis, contributed to a feeling of despondency and a lack of desire to do anything more with AlistairScribbles …….
But I’m back, firing on at least 3 out of 6 cylinders, while still cursing Apple for its stinginess.
So here’s a big dose of AlistairScribbles (9 images in all, 8 created on my iPhone).

I break away from thinking that’s restricting … to develop my potential and be free … to contribute to my village and my family … I breakaway from thinking that’s not me
In my thinking I aspire to be Raygun (Rachael Gunn) … In my thinking I aspire to be free … I breakaway from thinking that’s restricting … I breakaway from thinking that’s not free.

While driving around curves in the road, I get particular pleasure from positioning the car to accurately “describe” the curve (only slightly OCD). On a regular basis, You and I “dissect” curves to survive.

We sold our caravan early this year and we’re missing it. I keep reminding myself, be grateful, we’re in a new and exciting phase of our lives.

If an image has no title, does it have no meaning?

A few years ago a work colleague opened a cafe. He was surprised by how many customers wanted the components of their food order to be placed on the plate without touching each other.

That’s it for now. Thanks for viewing. Stay safe and well … AND … see you next time.

Posted at 16:34h, 28 AugustHi Al, so sorry to hear about your diagnosis of Parkinson’s but mightily impressed with your attitude of getting on with life and giving blessings for the things you do have and discarding the things you can’t change. What a wonderful philosophy at our stage of life to be looking forward to new beginnings. Don’t get me started on Apple even though I’m typing this on an iMac. Love the scribbles, especially the bullfighter. Stay strong brother! Ron
